Once upon a time,

there was space between us, and we hated it.

I loved you…

and the <times> we were allotted-

even with *space* in between…

like plaster and metal.

Listen!! Listen?!

Listen…

I love you.

And once upon a time we had no homes

Just dwellings like fawns and deer, my Dear

And their crevasses\\-

even if it tookhalf/the time..

You loved me.

Once,

before

in some time.

Listen?

I see it in your eyes sometimes.

The space///////between us..

Is like shelter.

Shelter for the soul.

Shelter from the storm.

Shelter??!

In my mind..

Ha!

Fairytale.

Snow, books and breathes between either of them, and the space between you and I.
